The reason why I need to read through whole a book.

Recently, when I study something, I am increasingly depending on website. I can get necessary information by searching for websites. However, these pieces of information are a kind of fragments of large system. As I satisfy my necessities by such information fragments, I feel that my brain becomes messy and I am wondering in a large labyrinth. Before I was addicted to such a easy style, I had read books from the first page (including the author and the publisher information) and the appendix. A how to book for reading books said that we did not need to read all pages of the books, but we just need to pick our necessary pages up and to read just them. If we read all pages of the books, it will require infinite time and labor, and it cannot be economic way, like this. Of course, it will be true and a better practice. But, my current custom is too bad to get knowledge. Originally, the quality of information on the internet is not guaranteed by anybody. And what we understand something is not gathering fragments of something, but collect ing them, connecting them with logical relationships, and making a hierarchical
structure. Traditional paper books are produced satisfying such needs originally. Due to my recent practice, my understanding for my university study is too shallow and confused because there are just scattered fragments of information and there is no logical connections among them.
